High Times is beyond thrilled to be invited back to Gathering of the Vibes July 30-August 5 at Seaside Park in Bridgeport Connecticut! This annual music, art and camping festival is one of the best in the Northeast, and its Vibe truly is unmatched.

Established to reflect traditional values rooted in the Grateful Dead community, this festival serves as a communal meeting place among deadheads alike, and exists as a reminder that we’re enjoying the same crazy ride.

This year’s spiritual celebration features a myriad of extremely talented performers: The String Cheese Incident, Wilco, Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals, Gregg Allman, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Billy & the Kids, Dark Star Orchestra featuring Melvin Seals, Lettuce, David Grisman, New Riders of the Purple Sage, Warren Haynes featuring Railroad Earth, and a once-ina-lifetime celebration with Warren Haynes joined by the Seaside All Stars (George Porter Jr., Branford Marsalis, Jackie Greene, Joe Russo, and Marco Benevento) for the Vibes 20th Anniversary Spectacular.

Warren and his supergroup will perform on the main stage on Saturday August 1, which would have been Jerry Garcia’s 73rd birthday. This year, the Gathering of the Vibes will not only commemorate the 20th anniversary of Vibes, but also the 50th anniversary of the Grateful Dead, and JERRY GARCIA’S birthday!

Gathering of the Vibes compels a larger all-encompassing message, one that is built on loyalty, trust, understanding, compassion, innovation and connection.   Adhering to this ethos, this festival has been able to thrive for over two decades and continues to progressively evolve.

In an attempt to one day make Gathering of the Vibes a zero-waste event, Green Vibes has teamed up to try and harness the power of the musical community to transform the larger community.  Through providing environmental and social action awareness opportunities for attendees through the Green Vibes stage workshops, and providing greening tips for festival attendees, this organization has helped rapidly reduce the size of Vibes’ carbon footprint.

Single day tickets, and camping tickets are still available for purchase, and children under 12 camp for free!
