Hot off his performance at the 2016 SoCal Medical Cannabis Cup, Ghostface Killah has released a new video striking back at Martin Shkreli, the controversial former pharmaceutical executive who shelled out $2 million for the only copy of the Wu-Tang Clan's album "Once Upon a Time in Shaolin."
Ghostface called out Shkreli for his despicable price-gouging tactics after he upped the price of the HIV medication Daraprim from $13 to $750; Shkreli responded with a threat to "f—kin' smack him in the face" last week and demanded an apology from the rapper.
Today, the legendary rapper—with help from his Wu Goo partner Killa Priest—did not apologize. Instead, he responded with a nearly 12-minute video, denouncing Shkreli for endangering the lives of AIDS patients with the more than 5,000 percent Daraprim price hike. The video features clips comparing Shkreli to Pee-wee Herman, Batman villains and "this fake Peter Pan cat," as well as clowns Shkreli's goons, referring to them as "Snap, Crackle and Pop."
Ghostface also brings out his mother and his sister Asia, who talks about how Wu Goo CBD Oil has positively affected her life since having brain surgery and scolds Shkreli with a message for his mom: "Give him a hug. Tell him to stop f—king over people and being greedy."
The video ends with clips of Shkreli appearing before a congressional committee investigating drug prices last week, where he refused to testify.
