Song Premiere: Sisters of Your Sunshine Vapor’s ‘Desert Brain’

We loved the psychedelic grooves of Detroit’s Sisters of Your Sunshine Vapor so much that we had to celebrate the release of their new album, Desert Brain, by premiering the title track!

It doesn’t hurt that marijuana fueled the record sessions. “Our album, Desert Brain, can be played as a single 45-minute piece of music which could not have been accomplished without the assistance of cannabis,” said bassist Eric Oppitz. “Whenever we were stuck or needed a moment of inspiration we would lock the doors, spark up a bowl of top-shelf sativa, and settle in for a night of THC fueled experimentation. Write high; edit sober.”

Take a listen, and check out Sisters of Your Sunshine Vapor on their official site, or via bandcamp!
