Surprise Guest 50 Cent Added to SoCal Cannabis Cup Lineup

High Times, the voice of the cannabis movement since 1974, revealed a last minute surprise for SoCal Cannabis Cup ticket holders today that multi-platinum, grammy award-winning rapper, actor and businessman Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson will be performing Saturday night.

The rap mogul will be joining the already jam packed lineup—which the LAist has said rivals the second weekend of Coachellafeaturing Nas, Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley, Wu-Tang Clan, Lit, A$AP Ferg, Vic Mensa, Method Man & Redman, Chief Keef and The Game.

And despite the public animosity between 50 Cent and The Game, the two are expected to perform together at the festival.

The Cannabis Cup, which was established in 1988 as an industry trade show, has grown into a booming events business spanning across multiple states around the country. In recent years, the industry has catapulted, and in turn, the festival has grown to include seminars, cooking competitions and a topical massage spa, in addition to the musical performances and demonstrations from top companies.

Tickets for the Cup are still available online HERE.
