Uber Wants You To Call Them When You’re Stoned

On-demand rideshare service Uber has announced a partnership with our friends Weedmaps as well as a dispensary called The Clinic in Denver to prevent stoners from unnecessarily driving high if they’ve had too many dabs or what not. Additionally,  according to TechCrunch, each time a stoner hitches a ride with Uber using the promo code “clinicms,” the company will donate $5 to multiple sclerosis research — a fitting combination with medical marijuana roots.

Uber has been open to some wild marketing ploys in the past to grow their users, but this promotion shouldn’t seem so bizarre — it’s really a win-win for all parties involved and the fact that they’re raising money for a good cause? All the better! So friends, if you feel too stoned to drive, don’t risk it. Just call an Uber! The only question that remains is if they’ll let you hotbox it on the way…
