Mel Frank: When We Were Criminals
April 28 – June 9
Kicking off our list of 420-friendly summer events in Los Angeles is Mel Frank’s “When We Were Criminals” exhibition at M+B Photo. The exhibit represents the solo debut of cannabis botany pioneer Mel Frank, whose work captures snapshots of the evolving cannabis cultivation industry in California over the past 40 years.
420-Friendly Paint Sesh
June 1, 7 PM
Puff while you paint at this 420-friendly class, where students will learn to paint a “sprinkles”-themed piece of art to take home.
Saturdays and holidays, June 2 – July 28, 9 PM
It’s only appropriate that LA’s most iconic classic movies be screened amongst the graves of some of Hollywood’s most famous stars…right? That’s the idea with Cinespia, the outdoor movie series held on the grass at Hollywood Forever Cemetery. With picnic-style seating, a policy permitting outside beer and wine, and designated smoking sections, you’ll be able to turn up before the sun goes down for movies like Vertigo (6/30), Thelma & Louise (7/4), and The Graduate (7/28).
Eat | See | Hear
Saturdays, June 2 – September 15, 5:30 PM
With six venues located from Pasadena to Santa Monica, the 2018 lineup of Eat | See | Hear is bringing the signature food truck, outdoor movie, and live music event series to a park or amphitheater near you. This year’s lineup features a mix of new favorites and cinematic classics, including Lady Bird (6/30), Back to the Future (8/25), and A League of Their Own (9/15).
Adult Play Dough
