V2 Pro Series 7

V2, the world’s largest online retailer of electronic cigarettes, first launched their vaporizer line – V2 Pro – in July 2014. The first product was called Series 3 and had been roundly applauded for both its design and performance. And now, with Series 7, V2 has changed the game yet again!

Series 7 is optimized for dry herb, but like all V2 Pro products, it is a 3-in-1 device. The 3-in-1 capability is one of the features that set V2 Pro products apart from the competition.

The way they accomplish 3-in-1 performance is through a combination of clever hardware and software. The clever hardware is easy to see. Series 7 has a single-body construction, with drop-in cartridges (one each for dry herb, e-liquid and wax) that easily connect magnetically to the unit – no threading required. Changing cartridges takes less than a second.

The clever software automatically recognizes the cartridge type and adjusts the temperature or voltage accordingly. Series 7 also allows a consumer to manually adjust the temperature through one simple button. There are three distinct settings for each medium/cartridge type.

The focal point of the design is ease-of-use. In addition to the magnetically connected cartridges, the charger connects the same way. A breakaway charger help avoid the inevitable product damage that comes from trying to remove a vaporizer from its charging station before it is truly disconnected. The unit also works as a “pass-through” device, meaning that as long as the unit is plugged into a charger (either USB or included wall adapter), it is completely operational.

An interesting benefit of the drop-in cartridges is the ease of cleaning and associated performance reliability. The dry herb cartridges can be cleaned – in fact, the Series 7 kit comes with a pick and brush – but over time, performance may be diminished. Rather than using a pipe cleaner, lubricant and other material, a consumer simply pops in a new cartridge. This also works great for travel. Since there is no residue in the unit (only in the cartridge), you can simply bring a new cartridge with you and then unwrap it at your destination.

The dry herb heat up time for Series 7 is less than 30 seconds, which makes it one of the quickest in the industry. And the extra large battery – 1800 mAh – means that you’ll get plenty of uses before a recharge.

Perhaps the best aspect of Series 7 though is the price. It is available for $149.99 and easily offers performance of vaporizers that cost $200 or more. Click HERE to see the entire kit!
