3 Beginner Grow Tips of the Week | April 11, 2017

1. Ceramic discharge lamps are quickly becoming a top choice for indoor growers. Their low power draw turns around a remarkably high PAR value with broad spectrum and low heat signature.

2. Raised benches are common in indoor growrooms. Keeping plants off the ground helps keeps pests off plants and makes working in the garden much easier. Be sure to have aisles on all sides of your benches for easy access to plants.

3. LED lamps are still looking for their next big leap. Most units have lower power consumption and heat emissions than HID bulbs, but if they don’t produce full spectrum, white light your yields will suffer. Avoid the purple hue.
