3 Beginner Grow Tips of the Week | Jan. 10, 2017

Tuesday’s tips for beginner growers are brought to you by HIGH TIMES Cultivation Editor Nico Escondido.

1. Cooler water temperatures of below 70°F help cut down on the growth of pathogens in your reservoir. Water chillers can be a garden’s best friend.

2. Mylar is an excellent solution for covering the walls of any growroom. The more light a plant receives—even if it is reflected light—the better it will grow.

3. If you have the space, it is preferable to start your seed or clone in the same container you plan to harvest from. Transplanting can cause stress and shock to your plants, so you want to minimize transplants as much as possible.
