Sadly, the practice of growing and creating the legendary Thai Stick is quickly becoming a lost art. Very little if any, ever leave the confines of Thailand and the traditional clandestine growers have mostly shifted over to the more profitable poppy.
You are right about the amazing high that comes from the high and lowland Thai sativas that made up the classic Thai Stick. The few times I’ve had the opportunity to taste and absorb the incredible strains of Southeast Asia, I’ve been amazed at the euphoric and uplifting effects.
Also, thank you for your service to our nation. Veterans such as yourself should be free to consume all the cannabis you desire. I hope more vets suffering from PTSD or any other ailments that they took on during their tours of duty discover the benefits of cannabis as medicine and turn away from the hard drugs and poisons being unscrupulously peddled to them by the V.A.

That sounds right; I'm wishing I had thought to check how many blades per leaf ~ does it vary? & could you explain more about the mountain & island Thai Stick; the same strain or do they vary in some other way or is all Thai Stick the same strain that I was told to spell as Thia?
Thai sticks were actually dipped in light oil, and they were really good. I think moon rocks might even be better.
Those can always be find in France on a small schedule...

I've had the pleasure of smoking thai sticks back in the 70's.15.00 a piece.fantastic buzz that is really missed.Hard to compare but,It was as potent as some weed today for sure.The stuff today is priced here at 240 a ounce or better for comparable high.Growing up in the midwest in the 70's we had unbelievable varieties that came around.great columbian,good mexican(red bud) unknown little brown buds,other columbian gold,other mexican from two joints to get off,to much better.Then the good green started coming around in the 80's.And we realized it most likely was US grown stuff. Those were the Daze.
