Healing the Mind With Ketamine

Using the magic medicine to tap into altered states of being.

Fancy exploring another dimension? With ketamine, you could tour the entire universe and return to Planet Earth on the same night. This psychedelic substance isn’t just for exploring otherworldly realms, however. It is a serious tool for physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual healing.

Ketamine is an anesthetic that may offer respite from the symptoms of various mental health conditions, including anxiety, bipolar disorder, treatment-resistant depression/major depression, PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder), OCD (obsessive-compulsive disorder), and numerous addictions/substance use disorders.

The global ketamine treatment market size was valued at USD 132.43 million in 2021 and is anticipated to inflate at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 75.52% during the forecast period, reaching $3871.44 million by 2027.

With over 300 million people battling depression, ketamine serves as a vital tool for mental illness, pain relief, as a party favor, and as a meditative aid. Consider it your very own genie in a bottle, but instead of rubbing it to have your wishes come true, you simply set an intention. Oh, and let’s not forget the importance of going into it with the right vibration, too.

Everything is energy, and all matter carries a vibration. That said, it makes sense that your energetic vibration and mindset would affect your ketamine trip. Unfortunately, ketamine is widely misunderstood, and many people go into it without preparing correctly. This is exceptionally important if you want to slide into a lighter realm of consciousness (as opposed to getting stuck in a bathtub at someone’s house party).

Call it a “horse tranquilizer,” “special K,” “ket,” or whatever you want, but there’s no denying the fact that ketamine is one genuinely fascinating drug. It could also be described as a kind of “fairy dust” because when used wisely, it can catapult you to fairytale-like realms. (Not to be confused with angel dust, however – the nickname for PCP).

On the other end of the spectrum, when ketamine is abused with alcohol, one can plummet into a “K-hole.” If you’ve never experienced one and want to avoid it, you will want to keep reading. If you have found yourself climbing out of a k-hole before, then you’ll know it’s not the kind of place you dream about…

Ketamine clinics are cropping up all over the country and, based on the info published by Ketamine Clinics Directory, some people are paying up to $2,000 per session. Lea Lis MD, A.K.A. “The Shameless Psychiatrist,”, a clinical professor at NYU and double board-certified Adult and Child psychiatrist, says that a ketamine treatment program should be used in connection with psychotherapy for optimal healing.

The Rise of Ketamine

Synthesized for the first time in 1962 by professor of Chemistry, Calvin L. Stevens, ketamine has made a major quantum leap in the psychedelics industry over the past few years. Featured on the World Health Organization’s List of Essential Medicines, this unique medicine is starting to claim more media coverage than ever before.

Soon after it was synthesized by the American scientist at Parke-Davids and Company‘s laboratories in Detroit, Michigan, USA, it was being used as an ‘ideal’ anesthetic for monkeys. The drug was named because of the ketone and because its chemical structure falls into the amine group.

On August 3, 1964, intravenous ketamine was injected into a human being for the first time. Subjects described the experience as “floating in space as if they were disconnected from their body and environment with a loss of feeling in their limbs.”

Due to the strange sensation, ketamine is considered a dissociative anesthetic. Following the stamp of approval that ketamine received from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in 1970, ketamine was eventually used to treat wounded soldiers during the Vietnam War because of its large margin of safety.

Since this time, the market (both black market and legal) has swelled to immense proportions. A report by Fairfield Market Research indicates that ketamine will exhibit a CAGR of 16.0% between the years 2021 and 2026 as clinical trials explore its suitability for treating alcohol dependence, bipolar depression, suicide ideation, and social anxiety.

Using Ketamine with Crystals for Amplified Meditation

There’s a very spiritual element to ketamine, so you’d better get ready to awaken your inner light. We are souls, we have a body. Our body is just our avatar and the way we treat it certainly influences our experience with ketamine. (By the way, I’d like to take a moment to ask anyone who’s reading this to raise their hand if they have ever watched Avatar in 3D on ketamine…

We all signed up for this. Maybe you just don’t remember why yet, but wouldn’t you like to know? That’s the thing about ketamine, it can remind you of your soul’s purpose. Ketamine – as well as some other very important ingredients – can be infused with the body to unleash the soul.

In a nutshell, if you don’t prepare your body before you consume ketamine, ketamine will consume you. Use it wisely and you’ll be treated to immense pleasure, as well as gain the privilege of delving into some majestic realms of divine white light and blissful dimensions of consciousness…

Remember when Aldous Snow strokes the furry wall in Get Him to the Greek? Well, let’s substitute the furry wall for some selenite, and the snow for the K. Ketamine can be used as an amplifier tool for meditation. When used with crystals, it’s possible to become a master not only of your mind but your reality.

The late writer and artist Timothy Wyllie claims to have had conversations with angels on ketamine, which can be snorted in the form of a crystalline powder (it can also be swallowed, smoked, or injected) crystals can be held in our hands while using ketamine to completely change the trip. Yes, you read that right. Crystals. If you’re snorting ketamine crystals, might as well be holding a complimentary crystal to bolster the medicine’s magical touch.

Crystals possess their very own life energy. They are part of the Mineral Kingdom and these minerals come in all shapes, sizes, clusters, and colors. All crystals ‘vibrate’ on their individual frequency. According to Healthline, “crystals can redirect and re-channel energy flow with their unique energetic vibrations, helping to unblock areas of the body or energy field that have become stuck.”

Raising your vibration before going into a ketamine trip means you can shift into a higher state of consciousness and harness the power of crystal energy at an elevated rate. Infusing crystal energy with your body after a ketamine infusion session could help you to absorb energy into your aura and emit energy to the universe in a much more powerful way.

Manifesting Your Dreams with Ketamine Meditation

Jumping on the ketamine express can be quite an alluring prospect for anyone who wants to indulge in magical moments and tap into altered states of awareness. The medicine can also enhance focus and deliver some super creative ideas (so long as the body is well prepared).

Ketamine, when used wisely, can be harnessed as a tool for manifesting by tapping into altered states of consciousness and getting into what Abraham Hicks calls “the vortex.” Just as The Frog Prince—bound by a wicked fairy’s spell—wondrously and transforms back into a handsome prince, you too could shape your reality by magnanimous proportions if you tap into the quantum field through vibration-raising mindfulness meditation on special K.

The Cinderella story is another good example. As the story goes, the fairy godmother summons magic powers with her wand and sings the famous words: “Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo.” Believe it or not, the magic wand can be substituted for ketamine and crystals, because when you combine the two elements, you get a magic superpower that could yield transformation in the physical realm.

Ketamine can essentially help us to raise our vibration or lower it. The outcome depends on the preparation. It’s entirely possible to customize your trip based on your vibration and mindset. With a high vibration, we can enter the quantum field. That said, ketamine may be a magic tool for slipping into the quantum field and manifesting our desired reality through visualization meditation.

According to Dr. Joe Dispenza, “you cannot perceive the reality of the quantum field with your senses, it exists on another plane. You have to perceive it with your consciousness.” The expert states that at this level you start to feel like you already have everything you dream of, and ketamine can shift us into this state if used smartly.

“When you are in the place called the quantum field, and you feel like you already have everything you dream of, you don’t have to fight anymore. Creating something through the field creates changes in three-dimensional reality. This can be healing from illness or negative experiences, for example.”

To enter the quantum field with ketamine, you must first prepare for the ride.

Preparing for the Ride…

So many people are confused about K. They think it’s bad. They fall into an ugly mess and don’t want to try it again because they may have the same experience, of course. It’s not nice to be out of control, but if you go into it unknowingly, you may not like the experience whatsoever. When done in a safe and supportive space, the patient can have a more beneficial experience. (Gorman, I., Nielson, E., & Paleos, C., 2021).

Research indicates that ketamine and meditation impact the default mode networks in our brains. This part of the brain is what we default to when we are not actively focusing on the outside world and in a depressed individual, it can be “hijacked” and dysregulated. Could ketamine be the cure for soothing a busy mind? Perhaps, so long as the medicine is combined with the correct elements.

K can be used in such a way that you can recall your true higher self and understand why you came here, but it can also be abused (such as with alcohol) and send you into states of shit, instead of hiking you up to sublime states of golden slumber. This is why it’s essential to prepare for the ride. Failure to do so may result in a negative experience, which is why anybody considering trying ketamine ought to practice caution and proper preparation.

Soothing music, natural lighting, and a connection to nature are integral elements of any successful ketamine meditation session. An article published in Psychology Today emphasizes that music is an essential part of the ketamine journey, so opt for music that promotes healing, as opposed to harsh or unusual sounds.

Just search YouTube, and you’ll find heaps of calming music ideal for ketamine infusion meditation sessions. Some of the most-played videos are posted by the team at Ketamine Wellness Centers – an individualized, clinically-controlled infusion therapy company with a holistic approach to health and well-being.

To ensure a desired outcome, there are a few key elements of any ketamine trip:

  • Stay hydrated with plenty of water.
  • Load up on colorful fruits and vegetables to awaken the chakras and promote a better overall experience. (Here’s a list of foods that raise your vibration.)
  • Avoid doing it in unfamiliar spaces.
  • Chew raw ginger before doing it (this raises your energetic vibration and will catapult you into some wonderful worlds).
  • Prepare your music playlist wisely, because the frequency of music affects our energetic field. Steer clear of unusual sounds.
  • It also helps to take some vitamin C beforehand. Since research indicates that vitamin C may reduce anxiety levels, it’s guaranteed to give your mind an extra dose of calm, to ensure you get the most out of your experience.

Steering Clear of a K Hole

In Kit Kelly’s book, The Little Book of Ketamine, he notes that you will probably have “telepathic synergistic” communications with God while on ketamine. It’s easy to get flung into otherworldly portals of divination while under the influence of ketamine. (A k-hole won’t take you there, however.)

Many misconceptions exist about ketamine because most people do it on a low vibration. Slipping into a k-hole seems standard practice for partygoers who snort ketamine powder with alcohol. It’s tricky to distinguish the effects of ketamine combined with alcohol; both drugs impair coordination and thought processes.

If you want to see what this drug can do, go into the experience well-hydrated and loaded with vitamins. What you’ll discover with ketamine is that the higher your vibration, the better the overall experience. After all, everything is energy, and every single substance we consume carries an energetic frequency. Energy is everything, so play with it properly.

  1. I have a few ‘issues’ with some quotes from this otherwise informative article, specifically:

“it’s good to know that you can open your third eye (the pineal gland) by sun gazing during the first few minutes of sunrise and the last few minutes of sunset”
It is NEVER a good idea to look at the sun, under the influence of anything or not, Ultra-Violet light damages your retina at any age and the damage is cumulative causing cell damage that leads to a massively increased risk of Macular Degeneration and Cancer among numerous other eye diseases.

“Not to be confused with angel dust, however – the nickname for heroin”
I personally have never read or heard of someone calling Heroin ‘Angel Dust’ (not that anyone can’t call anything by any name they want); but I have read, seen and heard people calling PCP (phencyclidine) ‘Angel Dust’ since the 1970s. This practice of calling two completely different drugs the same name is VERY dangerous on many levels and should be discouraged as much as possible. That’s why i f*cking HATE Cannabis varieties being named idiotic names like Crystal Meth, LSD and Green Crack. If the Cannabis ‘community’ truly wants it to be ‘fully’ legalized then it should do everything possible to avoid such marketing mistakes, because such names only give ‘ammunition’ to ignorant scare-mongering journalists preaching to an ignorant public.

“crystals can be held in our hands while using ketamine to completely change the trip”
Your penis (or dildo) can also be held in your hand while using ketamine to completely change the trip LOL.

Fundamentally I agree with this articles premise, even though it’s poorly spelled out: Different doses of Ketamine produce very different experiences (just like THC!).

  2. As a regular ketamine taker, I think this article is really lacking real substance. Yes ket is a great way to get high (or open your chakras or whatever), but it’s also incredibly addictive and harmful! The ket epidemic in the UK (particularly the SW) is real, and it’s ruining lives. I love K, but I don’t think promoting it as a wondrous way to reach the moon (without balancing it out with the reality of it’s dark side) is very responsible. It is a drug, your tolerance builds up incredibly quickly, and it is highly addictive. It can quickly destroy your bladder and has a similar effect to heroin when abused. I lost a friend to ket (she used intravenously), my other friend lost her bladder (she snorted), this was over a decade ago, and these are not isolated incidents. Unregulated Ket usage is fun in moderation with good friends, but it is not a way to cure depression or mental health problems. As for the spiritual side, yes it takes you to another plain of existence, just like all drugs.

  3. I agree with the above two comments. I have been a ketamine addict for ten years and am also a magical practitioner. It has led me to psychosis and states of suicide before which whilst were obviously manifestations of pre existing issues, should not be overlooked. It has also impaired my memory and caused digestive issues. Ketamine is a wonderful substance but for many people it is also a living hell and a trap that can be very hard to climb out of. This article could have done better by giving a firm warning about the dangers of its use, especially for people with existing issues. Solidarity to all other addicts out there – you have got this ❤
