A prankster in Arkansas may have taken a page out of the High Times playbook and executed a well-played April Fools’ joke on the residents of Fayetteville.
According to the Fayetteville Flyer, a sign advertising what would be Arkansas’s first marijuana dispensary appeared Wednesday on the front of an abandoned building.
The 10-foot banner claims that the dispensary will open on 4/20 and will carry “Arkansas grown” bud for both medical and recreational purposes.
KNWA reports that the advertisement has been causing quite the commotion with people “stopping to take pics of the sign all day.”
Of course, cannabis is still illegal in Arkansas. In fact, a proposed marijuana legalization bill was shot down just last week.
