The SoCal Cannabis Cup: Day 2 is poised to be as exciting and thrilling as the first day of the event was.

Yesterday, Cannabis Cup-goers arrived in droves to the event site. Taking the news of the block to sell legal cannabis products in stride, many who came to the first day of the SoCal Cannabis Cup brought their own products to enjoy and share.

The opening day of the SoCal Cannabis Cup was filled with vendors offering their newest, most innovative cannabis accessories and services, live podcasts, tattoo artists inking some sick designs and some body marbling artists providing some less-permanent body art.

And of course, some adorable baby animals at the petting zoo.

At night, live musical performances brought everyone to the stage to watch Baby Yu, Felli Fell, Lupe Fiasco and Rick Ross. Last night’s headliner was none other than hip-hop living legend Nas, who had just celebrated the 24th anniversary of his debut album, “Illmatic.”

What’s On For Cannabis Cup: Day 2?

In addition to the below-scheduled activities, we just got wind that there will be a rosin judging contest. The USA Squash-Off will be held at the Rosin Tech Products booth at 1 pm. The Squash-Off will be hosted by Bobby West AKA Uncle Stoner.

And just one more insider tip: You’ll want to be around the VIP area at 4:20. Trust us.

Festival Map:

When and Where is the SoCal Cannabis Cup?

The SoCal Cannabis Cup is from April 20th to the 22nd at the NOS Events Center in San Bernardino California.  Doors open at 12 pm for VIP tickets and 12:30 for GA each day. The event closes at 10 pm on Friday/Saturday and 8 pm on Sunday.

Who Can Attend This Year?

This year, anyone aged 18 or over will be allowed to attend the event. Just bring ID to prove it.

Where Can You Park?

Follow signs when you arrive at the NOS Events Center for paid attendee parking.

Where Can I Find the Baby Goats?

Here is our festival map so you don’t have to try and figure out how to navigate the event while stoned at the last minute.

Can You Buy Weed?

The San Bernardino City Council voted to block the lawful sale of cannabis-based products at the last minute. But that won’t stop us from blazing together while celebrating the people, music and herb that has healed so many. There are hundreds of medical/recreational cannabis dispensaries and delivery services throughout California where you can make purchases prior to entering the event.

Can You Smoke Weed?

Absolutely. Cannabis will still be consumed at the cannabis cup.

How Does Judging Work?

Entries are scored using a two-tiered digital system that includes a qualitative score from judges and a quantitative score from lab tests.

The qualitative score accounts for 75 percent of the total, with judges looking at aroma, flavor, visual appeal, potency and other factors depending on the category.

The lab testing accounts for the rest.
