Number of Banks Taking Cannabusiness Money Skyrockets

Marijuana businesses may have finally received some relief when it comes to banking, a recent report from the Associated Press indicates. The number of banks and credit unions offering their services to weed businesses skyrocketed over the past two years, from just 51 in March 2014 to 301 in March of this year. This handy chart, from Marijuana Business Daily, illustrates just how big the boom is:
 

Banking would make running a marijuana business not only much smoother, but safer, as large amounts of cash would not leave business-owners vulnerable to theft.
