Get ready to rock and roll with Portugal. The Man. Literally. As part of a brand new video series presented by High Times and Colorado’s Green Dragon Cannabis Company, the rock band gets a chance to get hands-on with dispensaries, growers and of course, the plant we all know and love.

Portugal. The Man

If you’re not yet familiar with them, Portugal. The Man is a rock band originating from Wasilla, Alaska. Jamming since 2004, the band currently consists of Kyle O’Quin, Jason Sechrist, Zachary Carothers, Eric Howk and John Gourley. Since its formation, the band has recorded a dozen singles, extended plays and eight studio albums. Their latest, titled Woodstock, was released this past summer. They have also performed live at festivals like Lollapalooza and Bonnaroo. Their hit single, “Feel It Still”, is even in the running for a Grammy in the Best Pop Duo/ Group Performance category.

But the band doesn’t only bond over their love of creating music. They also share a common love of cannabis. They even performed at this year’s Emerald Cup!

“I’m announcing my cannabis-y,” proclaims keyboardist Kyle O’Quinn. “I’m running for president. We’re going to make America green again.”

Portugal. The Man is set to be featured in a brand new video series. The series is presented by High Times, in collaboration with the Colorado-based recreational dispensary Green Dragon Cannabis Company.

The video series is titled The Greenhouse Sessions. It follows the band members of Portugal. The Man as they visit various dispensaries and greenhouses, and interview the owners and growers who make the legal cannabis industry great. And of course, partake in some pot.

In a preview of the video series, we see the members of the band get up close and personal with the world of legal pot. They walk through rows and rows of growing cannabis plants and engage in conversation with the experts who run the greenhouses. They also pose with giant bags filled with the greenhouses’ bounty of harvested and trimmed bud.

It’s the perfect series for everyone who loves Portugal. The Man and who are curious about the ins and outs of the legal cannabis industry!
