Rebel Grown bred the underlying genetics through its long-running Southern Humboldt program, while the actual Peak OG cut emerged later in Arizona. The Flower Shop team selected it in-house from Double Bubba Kush seeds and began running it as an exclusive Arizona selection.
That distinction matters. Peak OG is not simply another name slapped across every Double Bubba Kush plant. It is a selected expression from that seed population, one that Rebel Grown has continued to identify and promote under its own name.
The cut has since traveled farther west. A Soma Rosa × Rebel Grown Peak OG entry earned Gold for limonene and Silver for both co-dominant myrcene/caryophyllene/limonene and total terpenes at the 2026 California Cannabis Awards, giving the cultivar some objective backing for all that aromatic racket.
