Green House Seed Company bred the sativa-dominant hybrid from Lemon Skunk × Super Silver Haze, combining compact, resinous flower with a much taller appetite for vertical space.

Green House Seed Company bred Super Lemon Haze in Amsterdam near the end of the 2000s by crossing Lemon Skunk with Super Silver Haze. On one side came sharp citrus, compact flower, and sticky resin. On the other sat one of the defining Dutch Haze hybrids, bringing vigor, long branches, serious production, and a fast-moving cerebral high.
The combination landed at exactly the right moment. Super Lemon Haze won the High Times Cannabis Cup in Amsterdam in both 2008 and 2009, repeating a back-to-back feat previously associated with its Super Silver Haze parent. High Times later placed it among the 25 greatest strains of all time.
The family tree also helps explain the plant’s behavior. Super Silver Haze carries Haze, Skunk, and Northern Lights ancestry, while Lemon Skunk brings the brighter citrus side. Put them together and you get a tall, resinous lemon cannon that can double in size once flowering gets moving.

Common Grow Tips
- Flip with headroom to spare; Super Lemon Haze can at least double in height during flowering.
- Use LST or ScrOG early to turn long lateral branches into a broad, manageable canopy.
