5 Dope Fashion Designers We’re Obsessed With

Are you a sophisticated, well-dressed adult who loves cannabis? If so, then you may find yourself wanting to show your passion for the plant through your clothing and accessories. The problem is that a lot of the existing options for cannabis-inspired couture is gaudy and, well, horrible. Luckily, there are companies that have your back. Here are our favorite dope fashion designers lines with some of the dankest designs.

1. High Society Collection

High Society Collection

High Society Collection is a line of jewelry that pays homage to our favorite plant.

Based in Portland, Oregon, they offer a variety of choices that are both functional and beautiful. According to their website, their jewelry is “inspired by Art Deco.” And it shows.

Their collection includes all the typical things one would expect to find in a jewelry line: necklaces, earrings, rings, and bracelets.

But here’s the twist: most of the items are weed-related. Take a look at their Sunburst earrings and necklaces. It’s abstract, but if you know what you’re looking at, it’s pretty clear it’s in the shape of a cannabis leaf. They also make jewelry with a utilitarian edge. If you’ve ever wanted a delicate gold roach clip around your neck or dangling from your earlobes, this line is where you need to go. They also make tamper jewelry. Best of all, they don’t try to hide the true functionality of their pieces

2. Jacquie Aiche

Jacquie Aiche

If you don’t mind displaying your love for Mary Jane by wearing some traditional pot leaf imagery, but you still want to look mature and classy, check out Jacquie Aiche’s Sweet Leaf collection. And what a sweet collection it is. Jacquie Aiche offers the typical pieces of jewelry like earrings and necklaces, but also less common choices like anklets and body chains.

The Sweet Leaf Collection also has non-jewelry items. If you’ve ever wanted a snakeskin clutch or phone case emblazoned with a sweet leaf, this is the place to go. You can also get a snakeskin “doob tube” and a lighter case for traveling with your gear in style. Most of the snakeskin items are also available in crocodile skin. The Sweet Leaf Collection also has loungewear like sweatshirts and sweatpants available for purchase.

3. VidaKush

VidaKush

If fashion houses like High Society Collection and Jacquie Aiche are too far out of your price range, check out VidaKush. Their Mary Jane collection is fairly extensive and totally affordable. Choose from their line of necklaces, rings, earrings, bracelets, and chokers.

Their necklaces are pretty edgy and cool. VidaKush offers the typical necklaces with pot leaf pendants and charm chokers. But they also offer metallic nameplate necklaces. Choose from ones that say “Mary Jane,” “Sativa,” “Indica,” and “Lit.” They also even have a collection of authentic vintage denim jackets decorated with patches depicting a young woman smoking a joint. How cool is that? Any of these would make dope gifts for the stoner chicks in your life.

4. ASCHE

ASCHE

Are you a sophisticated adult who wants high-quality and beautiful smoking accessories? Do you want to have smoking accessories that are so subtle you can actually wear them as jewelry? If so, you need to check out ASCHE ASAP. Founded in 2014 by Molly Kavanagh, ASCHE is an accessories brand that combines wearable art with cannabis.

Choose from a variety of necklaces with dangling clips, leather stash pouches, and even a functional grinder pendant.

5. Genifer M.

Genifer M.

If you can’t get enough of shiny, sparkly, cannabis-inspired bling, your new best friend is a designer named Genifer Murray and her eponymous brand Genifer M. But she’s more than a jewelry designer. She’s a powerhouse in Colorado’s medical cannabis industry. In 2010, Murray founded CannLabs, a medical marijuana testing lab, and served as the CEO. She went on to create Carbon Blue Consulting, which focuses setting up cannabis laboratories, training, education, and safety.

So how did this STEM-driven businesswoman branch out into jewelry? She was bored with the poorly-made and cheap-looking cannabis-inspired accessories that flooded the market. She wanted to wear her heart on her sleeve, so to speak, and display her passion for the plant. But, like many fashion-conscious people, a flimsy pot leaf covered in glued-on rhinestones wasn’t appealing to her.

She teamed up with her jewelry-expert father Glenn Murray. Together, they started Genifer M.–an extensive line of necklaces, earrings, bracelets, and cufflinks for cannabis-lovers with cash to spare. And if you’re not too keen on wearing such an overt symbol, they offer a necklace with a THC molecule pendant.
