Even when you look at the most divisive issues among weed smokers, it's heartening to see a group of people who are so passionate about a common issue.
The classic wisdom among weed smokers is that sativas give you head highs, indicas give you body highs, and hybrids are somewhere in the middle.
While this breakdown seems straightforward enough, there are actually a couple key disagreements wrapped up in this taxonomical approach.
Most obviously, some smokers tend to separate out into “camps” devoted to one type of strain over the other. Some people love elevating their minds to new levels while others just want to mellow out and get into some deep bodily relaxation.
Beyond this, there’s also some division over whether or not this traditional breakdown is even accurate. More specifically, many smokers argue that strains have been so bred and cross-bred that there aren’t really true sativas or indicas anymore.
Basically, this argument claims that genetics have been so mixed up that everything’s essentially a hybrid, rendering the whole sativa-hybrid classification no longer relevant.
A trend is emerging among poultry farmers who are converting operations to industrial hemp farms.
