8 Worst Portrayals of Weed In Television Shows

TV isn't always entirely accurate. Especially about drugs. These are some of the worst portrayals of weed in television shows.

4. “The Inbetweeners”

In this classic scene, Will eats some weed and then gets completely blasted. Of course, we all know edibles can get a little out of hand, but this scene ends up hyping the entire thing way too much. For one thing, Will doesn’t even eat an edible; he eats flower. This episode ends up fueling another stereotype in which consuming cannabis leads to a more or less complete loss of self-control and awareness.

Sure, we all get a little too high once in a while, but this scene makes it look like weed is all or nothing: you’re either out of control, sky-high stoned or you’re sober. The reality is much different, as most folks typically get high in much more responsible, productive, and controlled ways.
