With this sentiment in mind, Colorado activist Susan Squibb created Mother’s High Tea, an annual event to honor mothers and women in the cannabis community, which is coming up soon on October 10 in Denver. While there’s no actual THC consumed during the event, it’s a safe space to bring the whole family (including kids) to introduce them to cannabis culture.
Featuring a keynote address from Colorado State Senator, Irene Aguilar, the event will include an elegant tea reception where guests will have the chance to mingle, write a letter to their legislature, craft with their children or step outside and enjoy a view of downtown Denver. The tea reception will be followed by a lineup of inspiring speakers.
