Neurogenetic

Research published as recently as 2013 suggested that cannabichromene could encourage neurogenesis. Neurogenesis is the growth of new brain cells. People with conditions like Alzheimer’s are suffering from altered neurogenesis.

Dr. Xia of the University of Saskatchewan was one of the first scientists to note this ability. He told Science Daily, “most ‘drugs of abuse’ suppress neurogenesis. Only marijuana promotes neurogenesis.”
