Avicenna Products, a Denver company that produces weed concentrates, has voluntarily recalled a slew products after discovering residual levels of unauthorized pesticides in their supply. The recall includes some 80,000 “individual packages” of a variety of medical marijuana concentrates distributed across the state, KUSA reports.
Samples showed their products were contaminated by Myclobutanil, Imidacloprid, Spiromesifin, and/or Etoxazole—pesticides the Colorado Department of Agriculture has banned from marijuana cultivation.
No illnesses have been reported. The products are labeled with “Avicenna Products” and the license number 404-00472.
