4 Times Donald Trump Flip-Flopped On His Marijuana Policy

Donald Trump seems to be changing up his opinions quite often. These opinions include important stances on policy, like marijuana policy.

He Changed To State-By-State

“I think it certainly has to be a state — I have not smoked it — it’s got to be a state decision … I do like it, you know, from a medical standpoint…it does do pretty good things. But from the other standpoint, I think that it should be up to the states.” (At 2016 Colorado campaign rally)

Clearly, this quote followed his path to the presidency.

He offers measured support while making sure to remind the public he’s never done it.

It’s possible the only reason he mentions not smoking it is to assure voters he’s always been resistant.
