Rainbow Soap
Floral Suds, Rainbow Candy, and a Sharp Citrus Rinse
Rainbow Soap crosses The Soap with RS11 for a modern indica-leaning hybrid loaded with floral cleaner, sweet candy, citrus, and gas. The LIT Farms line finishes quickly, throws serious frost, and can move from clear-headed lift into deeper relaxation.
Overview
Rainbow Soap takes two of modern weed’s stranger terpene families and lets them argue in the jar. The Soap brings floral cleaner, mint, and sharp herbal freshness, while RS11 pushes candy, fruit, and Sherbert sweetness into the mix. The result can smell like hand soap chased with lemon peel, tropical candy, cream, and a streak of gas.
The LIT Farms release is an indica-leaning hybrid with an 8–9-week flowering window and dense resin production. The high tends to stay clear enough at the start for conversation or a low-key project, then settles toward a calmer physical finish. Selected cuts can push harder in one direction or the other, especially the preserved LOUDA Cut, which is known for unusually loud floral-soap aromatics and substantial stretch.
Flavor, Aroma & Terpenes
Aroma & Flavor
Top Terpenes
Rainbow Soap can smell less like weed pretending to be dessert and more like somebody spilled candy beside a bottle of fancy hand wash. Floral soap and sweet fruit lead, lemon and citrus brighten the middle, and mint, cream, pine, or gas can creep in underneath. The cleaner note is real enough to justify the name without turning the whole flower into a bathroom joke.
Cultivar-specific terpene rankings are still thin. Linalool is the compound that repeats most cleanly across the available Rainbow Soap records, while limonene, caryophyllene, terpinolene, and other compounds shift depending on the source and selected cut.
Effects
Rainbow Soap tends to keep some light on upstairs while the body starts loosening. A clearer, brighter opening can make room for conversation or creative work before the RS11 side pulls things toward a calmer finish. Heavier doses and more indica-leaning selections can move the experience farther toward the couch without making sedation the cultivar's only trick.

Genetics & Origin
LIT Farms built Rainbow Soap from The Soap × RS11, joining two cultivars that helped define the floral-candy side of modern American breeding. The Soap traces to Animal Mints × Kush Mints and became known for an unusually clean bouquet of mint, flowers, pine, and hand-soap funk. RS11, short for Rainbow Sherbert #11, carries Pink Guava and OZ Kush-family genetics with a sweeter, fruitier Sherbert character.
Put them together and the name practically writes itself. The Soap sharpens the cross with mint and perfume, while RS11 fills in candy, fruit, color, and a softer Sherbert finish. LIT Farms released Rainbow Soap as feminized seed stock with a breeder-listed 8–9-week flowering time and mostly-indica classification.
Selected plants have since been preserved as clones, including the European LOUDA Cut, a phenotype chosen from an original LIT Farms seed pack for intense soap terpenes, vigor, frost, and pronounced stretch.

Common Grow Tips
- Train seed plants early, then adjust to the phenotype instead of assuming every Rainbow Soap stays compact.
- Leave extra vertical room for stretchier selections, especially plants showing LOUDA Cut-style vigor.
- Open crowded interiors as lateral branches develop so light and airflow reach the center of the plant.
- Keep late-flower airflow steady around resin-heavy buds as density and trichome coverage increase.
- Plan around an 8–9-week flowering window, then let flower maturity settle the final harvest date.
- Keep aromatic standouts labeled after harvest; soap, citrus, candy, and gas expression can shift considerably between selections.
Rainbow Soap has one meaningful structural wrinkle: not every selection behaves alike. General seed-line descriptions lean compact and bushy, while the preserved LOUDA Cut stretches aggressively and grows with much more vertical energy. Growers working from seed should watch the individual plant instead of assuming the name comes with one fixed architecture.
