Rogen is such a charismatic stoner that he even got director Kevin Smith into the herb. In a live-stream interview on MTV, Smith talked about working with Seth Rogen on Zack and Miri Make a Porno.

“One of the most talented people I worked with in my life was Seth Rogen,” Smith said about making the NC-17 film. “I got so much from him. He re-energized me in a weird way. I became a stoner because of Seth Rogen.”

Most of Smith’s films are set in New Jersey and range from comedy (Mallrats) to thrillers (Red State). His biggest hit so far was his first, Clerks, which spawned other films featuring Clerks characters.
