Love it or hate it, Stanley Kubrick’s adaptation of Stephen King’s The Shining is, hands down, one of the best horror movies to watch when you’re stoned. Forget the fact that Kubrick all but butchered the characterization of Wendy Torrance. Focus on the cinematography. When you’re high, the terrifying visuals of this film will worm their way into your brain and stay with you. Forever. And ever. And ever.
