Alright, he’s wordy. But Ginsberg’s ideas aren’t that complex in this short excerpt from his essay “The Great Marijuana Hoax”. To put it simply, or at least simply enough that one can understand his poetic phrasing while high, weed helps to digest knowledge. Further, Ginsberg here advocates for direct experience, something he felt could be accomplished best with pot.
