A report compiled by the NCAA’s Assistant Director of Research over the summer investigated the substance use habits of college student-athletes over the past year and made some interesting findings concerning the place of cannabis in college sports. With a pool of 21,000 athletes who supposedly volunteered truthful answers to a few probing questions, it seems lacrosse players were the biggest stoners of them all. We’ve concluded the three most logical reasons this is true:
1. Lacrosse has a Native American heritage
2. Pot helps recovery from the concussions lacrosse players are likely to receive
3. Wooden lacrosse shafts can double as a mean peace pipe:
