When the munchies strike, these mug cakes can be created quickly and easily. Lots of people don’t have the time, patience or kitchen gear to bake cakes from scratch, but this recipe makes it so simple you’ll be amazed! With this ingenious method, you can create marijuana-infused edibles with minimal equipment in just a few minutes. If you’ve got a microwave in your dorm room, there’s no reason why you can’t bake stoner sweets to order.

Featuring 22 tasty recipes, Stoner Mug Cakes by Dane Noon makes a fabulous gift for any stoner MacGyver who loves warm, gooey cake at odd hours. While the effects of high microwave temperatures on THC activation are still up for debate, these cakes are meant to be a fun novelty snack to eat in a pinch rather than a full-time cannabis-therapy program.

So spark a few joints, choose some excellent tunes and fire up the microwave—with the understanding that while these mug cakes won’t replace a professionally baked cake, they will provide a way to quickly satisfy your late-night craving for sweetness.

One word of caution: If your cannabutter is very potent, start off using only a teaspoon diluted in regular butter so you can gauge the effect of the high before adding more.

A quick snack substitute for when you’re craving warm late-night cake!

Blueberry Haze Mug Cake

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon cannabutter
  • ½ cup rolled oats
  • 1 tablespoon light brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • ⅓ cup blueberries
  • 1 generous pinch ground cinnamon
  • Greek yogurt, to serve

Directions:

Place the cannabutter in a 7-fluid-ounce, microwave-safe mug and microwave on full power for 30 seconds, or until melted. Stir in the oats, sugar, honey and cinnamon, then microwave on full power for one minute.

Mix well, then stir in the blueberries and microwave on full power for one minute more, or until the blueberry juices start to run. Serve with yogurt.
