The family tree contains an extra twist: PuTang is itself Star Pupil × Tangie, meaning Star Pupil appears through PuTang and again as Grape LSD’s direct final parent. That doubled Pupil influence helps explain why purple color, resin, and unusual aromatic sharpness sit so prominently in the cultivar’s identity.
