Two cannabis industry trade groups in Oregon have merged, joining forces at a troubled time for the state’s regulated marijuana industry.
A proposed $2 billion merger between Columbia Care and Cresco Labs that would have created the nation’s largest cannabis firm has been called off, the companies announced on Monday.
Executives say the merger will make the new company the “largest cannabis company by revenue, and the number one wholesaler of branded cannabis products.”
