Robert Plant Brings ‘The Colbert Report’ Free Weed and New Tunes

Led Zeppelin lead singer Robert Plant surprised everyone at The Colbert Report yesterday when he pulled a joint out of his shirt pocket during his interview with Stephen Colbert. Claiming it was from the band’s “stock room,” Plant pulled out the white dovetailed spliff for the audience to see before handing it to Colbert who carefully inspected the craftsmanship, gave it a good whiff and commented “let’s find out what this is later, shall we?”

While we don’t know the strain, potency or outcome of Plant’s pot (which Colbert pocketed!) High Times fell in love with the rock god all over again — leaving him with this message: Hey Robert, if you really want to smoke the good shit, come get high with us!!
For yet another classic album, check out Plant’s new record lullaby and… The Ceaseless Roar found on iTunes but probably best heard in headphones, full stereo and after a nice, fat joint.
