8. Not Associated With Violence

This is one of the major reasons why weed is safer than alcohol.

There is a plethora of evidence showing that excessive alcohol is linked to violence. This kind of violence isn’t just limited to drunken fights. It’s been linked to domestic and sexual violence as well. A 2014 study, however, shows that in relationships, regular cannabis use is linked to significantly lower rates of intimate partner violence.
