Ireland Baldwin may be lighting up a joint in a new campaign…but is she pro-legalization for adult recreational use?

Today, model and daughter of Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger, Ireland Baldwin, is sparking more than controversy. In a new photoshoot, Ireland Baldwin rolls up a joint and lights up for a 4/20 lingerie campaign. Here’s a closer look at the Guess Girl’s risqué video, released just in time for our favorite holiday.

Lingerie, Weed and a Killer Soundtrack

Ireland Basinger-Baldwin is turning heads in her latest photoshoot. The 6ft2 model posted a pinup-inspired photo of herself wearing nothing but a lacy black bra, garter and thong from Honey Birdette. In her hand, she holds a perfectly rolled joint and seems poised to smoke up.

But this scandalous photo was only a teaser. EATS posted a video of Ireland Baldwin rolling, lighting and slow motion smoking some loud herb. For those in New York, California and Nevada, you can buy the very same weed at MedMen dispensary.

420-friendly artist MIA’s Bad Girls plays in the background of the video, directed by Chris Applebaum. Hairstylist Randi Petersen and makeup artist Olga Pirmatova also worked on the shoot.

But Does Ireland Baldwin Support Legalization?

Ireland Baldwin’s opinion on recreational marijuana seems a little hazy. She seems to have no problem getting high on camera, in front of EATS’ 500,000 followers and her own 390,000. However, Baldwin has publically declared support for medical and medicinal marijuana only.

After posting the clip, Baldwin took to her Instagram story to discuss her views on cannabis. She explained, “I will say this once and only once. I support marijuana as a healing and medicinal aid that has helped so many get through various kinds of physical pain.”

She added, “I do believe in doing everything in moderation and responsibly,” and asserted, “smoking isn’t cool.”

Though we’ll be the last ones to argue against getting high, it seems a little hypocritical that the model is anti-smoking when the success of her EATS’ whole campaign hinges on glamorizing and sexualizing cannabis. Does Baldwin’s lingerie smoke sesh seem medical to you?

Ireland Baldwin Is No Stranger To Controversy

Daughter to actress and former model Kim Basinger and actor Alec Baldwin, Ireland Baldwin has spent much of her life in the spotlight. When her parents got divorced, this celebrity daughter found herself in the middle of a custody battle.

She initially garnered public attention when Alec Baldwin left her an angry voice message. The 2007 message got a lot of bad press, and even lead to a highly rated TV apology.

In his message, Baldwin called his then 11-year-old daughter a “thoughtless little pig.” He also said, “You don’t have the brains or the decency as a human being… I don’t give a damn that you’re 12-years-old or 11-years-old or that you’re a child or that your mother is a thoughtless pain in the ass.” Following his angry outburst, officials told Alec Baldwin to steer clear of his daughter before their family court hearing.

Ireland Baldwin once tweeted, “I need to overcome everything that I had been through and rid myself of all the pain I locked away in unreachable places.” In 2015, the model spent some time in rehab for “emotional trauma” and rumored drug use.

Final Hit: Ireland Baldwin Rolls Up a Joint and Lights Up For 420 Campaign

Ireland Baldwin’s EATS campaign has everyone talking. Not only does the celebrity daughter and Guess Girl celebrate 420 in the best way possible, but she seemingly contradicts her stance on weed. Maybe she’s too high to care.
