Kris Jenner Smokes A Joint on Camera

To those who don’t keep up with the Kardashians, a video where Kris Jenner smokes a joint may have been surprising.

There are a lot of celebrities you’d expect to see light up this past week. Noted activist and legalization supporter Paris Jackson wished her fans a “happy holiblaze guys #420” on Twitter. Wiz Khalifa dropped a 4/20 themed freestyle. But to top it all off, momager Kris Jenner smokes a joint on camera in honor of her daughter Kourtney Kardashian’s birthday. Here’s what Kris said to millions on Instagram.

Kris Jenner Smokes A Joint For Kourtney’s Birthday

Getting high is for moms and managers. Kourtney Kardashian’s 39th birthday was especially lit this year as Kris Jenner took to social media to praise her daughter with her favorite herbal remedy in hand.

In the video, the 62-year-old mom double fists a drink and a joint. After taking a hit, Kris tells Kardashian fans worldwide how lucky she is to have raised Kourtney, her first child of six.

“You taught me how to love. You taught me what being a mom was all about. And you were the first, you were there first and I love you more …” Kris says to the camera, as the video cuts off. You can hear the rest of the Kardashians cheering Kris on in the background.

As of January 2018, you can legally buy marijuana in California. This means that Rihanna and Snoop Dogg aren’t the only celebrities rolling joints in Hollywood. Momager to stars Kim, Kourtney, Khloé, KylieKendall and Rob and grandmother of nine is doing her part to bring marijuana into the limelight.

Kris Jenner is no stranger to weed. On 4/20 back in 2014, the paparazzi snapped a photo of Jenner buying a $200 bong at Dementia, a headshop in Sherman Oaks. The manager told the press, “She said that she needed a pipe for her mother. She was saying her mom had back pain.”

Later, on Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Kris Jenner got high with her mom, Mary-Jo Shannon. Though the mother-daughter duo enjoyed their smoke sesh, not everyone was so stoked.

Kris told a disapproving Caitlyn Jenner (then using the name Bruce), “So MJ’s (Mary-Jo, appropriately) feeling really good right now because we think it would be a good idea for MJ to, like, try out some MJ. Do you know what I’m saying? Do you know what marijuana is?”

Indeed, Cait did know and was none too pleased.

“Yes, I do, and I won’t have it in this house,” Jenner told her then-wife. “Well you don’t have to—it’s in here,” Mary-Jo said, pointing to her body, as Kris doubles over laughing. “Kendall and Kylie aren’t here. I want that shit out of the house before they get here,” said Caitlyn to a very high Kris.

Kris Isn’t The Only 4/20-Friendly Kardashian

Despite Caitlyn’s precautions, a few Kardashians have been spotted smoking something other than a cigarette. Last year, Kylie posted a photo of herself smoking a joint while in bed, naked. A tattooed hand fixes her hair. As you can imagine, the youngest Kardashian’s pot post got a lot of attention, both good and bad.

Earlier that year, Keeping Up With The Kardashians caught Khloe holding a well-rolled joint as she talked to Scott Disick. And who can blame her? Beautiful Costa Rican beaches pair well with some loud herb.

As Kris Jenner smokes a joint on camera, not only is she saying that marijuana is superstar approved, but she’s normalizing weed for mothers, grandmothers and business people.

It seems that the Kardashians are adding kush to their list of favorite accessories. In this video, momager Kris Jenner proves her love for the herb and her knack for creating a buzz. Smoking weed on Instagram a day before 4/20 on what happens to be Kourtney’s birthday? Hats off to Kris Jenner and her perfect timing.
