2. Cannabinoids Alone or Entourage Effect?

There is an ongoing debate in the medical marijuana world about whether or not it’s effective to consume isolated cannabinoids.

This debate most often pops up around the topic of CBD. Many folks recognize the medicinal properties of CBD, but don’t want the psychoactive effects of THC, and end up taking some form of pure CBD.

Others argue that this is actually counterproductive. Folks in this camp argue for something called the “entourage effect,” which is basically the idea that cannabinoids are more potent and effective when they interact with one another inside your body rather than in isolation.

There’s still a lot of disagreement on this topic, making it one of the more divisive issues among weed smokers.
