2. Hex-Nail — Hex-Nail
The Hex-Nail is the world’s most intelligent e-nail. It does much more than just transferring a certain amount of energy from point A to point B. You can choose from several exquisite colors of hand-finished, American hardwood that will add to the aesthetics of any heady glass collectors collection. The Hex Nail works through an app on your smartphone via wifi. It is the first e-nail with wifi and a built-in touchscreen.
Price: $499.99
Pros: Designed and built from the ground-up in Portland, Oregon. The company claims temperature readings are more accurate than your typical PID. It also updates the constantly shifting temperature with twice the speed of a standard PID. There is a graph on the touch screen which illustrates exactly how much power is being fed to get your nail to the setpoint.
The wifi connectivity and app make it so that you can check to see if you turned your e-nail off even when you aren’t home. You can also catch roommates dipping into your stash or using your e-nail without asking. The company offers free software upgrades for life. So when they drop their new model with new features, anyone that already owns one will be upgraded for free. This e-nail allows you to create preset temperature settings for each of your different nails or concentrates. If this model is out of your price range just wait, the innovators at Hex Nail are working on a new more affordable model without the touchscreen that will retail at $300.00.
Cons: It’s the most expensive unit you’ll find on the list, however other standard PID’s reach close to the same price without the hand-finished wood design, touch-screen and nowhere near as much functionality. Quantities are limited, you’ll have to pay half of the price in advance to reserve one of their new models.
Why We Like It: The most technologically advanced e-nail on the market today with a touch screen and customizable settings.
Demonstration Videos? I like low surface area on my atomizer (nail) but am not good with butane/open flame. Too much surface area = more buildup and less precision to me. Going to check out the first one after reviewing a few and some like 710 that I already have. I’m moving towards something self-contained with low surface area and disposable parts. Also of interest was the box-mod type system. Honestly, I dont use tobacco and am not at all familiar with the box mod model.
The fact that you don’t have the Mini Nail on here is absurd. Top ten list my ass.
Where’s the Ispire wand?…. You guys definitely dropped the ball!…. CHECK OUT THE ISPIRE WAND….. IT’S AWESOME#1!
